PSIBINDI BIOGRAPHY:

Psibindi is a Psy-trance Dj & Vocalist signed to UK based label Aphid Records.

Her latest EP 'Binary Star' (a collaboration with top producers Aphid Moon and Saga aka Nick from Mechanimal) was released on Aphid Records in December 2012 and reached number 13 in the top releases in Beatport chart. The EP has been critically acclaimed from the Psy-Scene and is now out on general release and available to buy at all good online retail outlets.

Her debut EP 'Psychic Traveller' (also a collaboration with Aphid Moon & Mechanimal), was released on Aphid Records in 2011 and soared into the Top 10 on Beatport charts.

Now resident Dj for Red Dust collective in Spain - Psibindi has been powering dance floors in Spain and in the UK at events such as Seville En Trance & Transition Full Moon parties; and in the UK - Acid Monkey, Bom Shanka, Cohesion, Pan Galactic Space Disco, 5th Element & many more!

This year 2012 she played an epic opening set at TRANSITION FESTIVAL in Spain, and also Main Stage at VUUV in Germany. She recently launched her new EP 'Binary Star' at ASTRAL CIRCUS in London.

2013 will see Psibindi launch her exciting new Live set!

Psibindi (aka Rena Biring) is a classically trained singer in Indian Raga. She is vocalist with electronic chill project DHUNA.

Rena has performed alongside some great Artists such as legendary singer Sheila Chandra & Ustad Latafat Ali Khan.

SEAN SPINDRIFT BIOGRAPHY:

Sean has been Dj’ing Chill Out music since the summer of 2007 and Progressive Trance since late 2009. Having played for Planet Bob, One Tribe, Acid Monkey, One Soul and Electribe to name but a few, he’s been a familiar face in the London scene since those heady days of Astral Phoenix at Tysen Street ( the smiling chap with the flyers!!!!). “People ask me “why Spindrift?”…well, it reflects my love of sailing and is a word that describes storm blown spray from a wave top….” On the chilled side his style ranges from ambient and psy-chill to world beat, jazz and latin, with music from the likes of Shpongle, Seb Taylor, Aes Dana, H.U.V.A. Network, C B L, Lemon Grass, Eat Static (et al). On the Prog side his style is funky and uplifting which reflects his appreciation of artists on Iboga, Blue Room and Iono Records. He says “I’ve had a love of music from an early age and was heavily influenced by my mother’s classical collection. I fell in love with the amazing sound-scapes of Vaughan Williams, I like music that touches my heart and this reflects on my choice of tracks when I play.” Sean has been running the chill out at Cosmo (Offworld) Festival since the event began in 2007 and is a percussionist in two up-tempo world beat projects, Orchid Star (Liquid Sound Recs) and Native Horizon (Bingly Bongly Recs). Both bands had a busy year in 2008, the highlight of which was playing at Boom Festival, Portugal…. “Breathtaking!”
