Insideout? at The Hoxton Pony has established itself as THE place to be in the East End – recently attracting acts as established as The Specials, Paloma Faith & The Libertines! Visually the place is one of a kind. The bar was designed by award winning designer come architect Yanik Allard of Ecole Camondo Paris – combining contemporary sculpture, fluorescent lighting and wildlife diorama – there really is no place quite like it.. The Pony’s darker personality is revealed in the basement, a demented, back-lit dance floor with the attitude of a contemporary East End drinking den. We’ve yet to mention the award winning drinks menu (2 for 1 *beep* between 6-9pm) and the tres-unique food menu serving seasonal British classics with a twist. All *beep* are mixed with seasonal, local produce at the highest standard – playing a big part towards the venues ‘Bar of The Year’ award last year!



This week see’s our resident Mash-Up kings CrashRhino take time out from a busy festival season - entertaining the backstage parties at RockNess & London Calling - to take the headline slot. As well as providing the soundtrack to Londons summer at iconic venues such as Proud Galleries, Punk & Bungalow8, Crashrhino were selected as the official tour DJ’s for the wild Sharbang record label tour! The duo brought their eclectic mash-up party to the UK’s major venues in cities including Liverpool, Coventry and the infamous Smash & Grab at Brighton’s Conchord II. Expect to hear anything from 90’s HipHop to 80’s electronica, Ska, Dance Hall & Northern Soul, Rock n Roll to Indie plus classics that take you back to a more innocent, beautiful time before pretense and drudgery took hold! This is the only place in London where you can truly drink award winning drinks and dance yourself silly in your own personal art installation!!
