We voted for the music updates to stay and we won but still the updates were moved. That sucks and so many people agree with me that its whack!! cuz soo many people voted against them being moved. What was the point in us voting? what a waste of time.

i asked that.. and was told

a/ the totals for "yes" and "dont care" were larger than "no"...

b/ the new server wouldnt allow the music updates to be on it...

Since we no longer had a webhost we had two options:
1. split the site into 2 parts (like we have done)
2. close the whole site down

We chose option number 1.

all there used to be was trancegate...

we now have TG and this sweet forum and ivibes for musical info and stuff... Laughing

to be honest, I never came on trancegate, and when I come here on [i:Vibes], I dont go to the music updates ever.

I like finding my own music.

I'm in the same boat as TrigaX. At least audiogalaxy won't give me blink links and pop-ups. Just music.

To be honest, these days most of the so-called trance mp3 sites have nothing but old updates, dead links, and tons of popup banners. I find it really hard now to find a decent site - probably because web hosts and providers are cracking down on mp3s and warez etc, but someone must have a private server somewhere that can run a decent site.

I have to say that most of my music comes from P2P file-sharing programs such as Morpheus and WinMX these days, as it's so hard to find a good mp3 site anymore.

Any opinions?
