Marco V. - In Charge = Progressive
Rank 1 - Airwave = Emotional, uplifting Trance
Tony Walker - Field Of Joy (Original Mix) = Intelligent Trance

The difference between Prog & Uplifting is pretty obvious as you will see.
Generally speaking, Progressive emphasises Rhythm, Uplifting emphasises Melody.
See you, guys.

progressive tracks are better known as songs who doesnt have any climax in it
it is mostly based on many samples and synths so the "overall track" is important and good
not just only a climax where u are waiting for but the "whole song" is great

very good examples of progressive trance are

system f - needjejuice
james holden music
max graham music
airwave - .....
sasha - xpander
ultravibe - choose freedom

listen to one of these tracks and you will hear

Atb - 9pm
Balearic Bill - Destination Sunshine
Bedrock - Heaven Scent
Ayla - Ayla
Binary Finary - 1999

and a lot of more recent stuff is more progressive....
DHS - House Of God for example

I'd heard some old tracks with the samples used in house of god, but not this one before, I found it on a music update somewhere, I've downloaded so many tracks, but this mix of it was new to me so I assumed it was newish or maybe just re-released with the surge in popularity progressive has had
