If I open http://www.ivibes.nu Im not logged in auto but if i use www.ivibes.nu/board on my bookmarks, I Usually am.

NE1 else able to help see if this is the case with them too

This seems to be a delicate part of i:Vibes.

Its usually a problem with the users setting, with high security IE rarly accepts cookies, which ivibes uses to store your username and password in...

If anyone is having problems just turn your security down lower and make sure that your IE is in accept cookie mode Smile

when im at college tho.. where on a network.. ive always wondered.. if im logged in on one computer and someone esle was to log on to I:vibes.. would they be in my acount ??

if anyones got internet explorer 6,and all you xp users, theres new settings concerning cookies , it privacy settings/tab in internet expolrer options, and if you accidently added ivibes to the blocked cookies list, its not gonna work, it'll rejecyt cookies, when your on ivibes if you see a lil no entry sign in the bottom toolbar, ie is blocking your cookies!!

i used to have 6 installed... but my computer couldnt handle it i dont think.. it took about 1 min to open a new window.. very annoying when a site has pop ups.. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

so when i formatted my computer i only installed up to v5.5... Laughing auto login works every single time now.. Laughing

The last couple of weeks autologin hasn't worked for me either.

Today I tried logging it at http://www.ivibes.nu/board instead of http://www.ivibes.nu (checking the autologin box). Then I closed my browser (all windows) and opened http://www.ivibes.nu -> now i'm logged in. Something strange going on here.

Will look into the frontpage login later on, meanwhile login in our board instead of the frontpage to get autologin working Smile

Also make sure you allow cookies in IE and set security level to Medium or lower.

If I go onto the forum straight off, my auto login works, if i goto the frontpage it doesn't, so I guess It's still a nagging problem

hehe, hmm past few days it has settled down,

for ie6 it seems to be intermittent, it works and then it doesnt, often seems random at times

ive lost posts when im posting and then it comes up with login page Evil or Very Mad

hmm anyways im gonna take a guess here, are the cookies "session" only cookies, rather than the persistant ones

as sumtimes, even restarting machine resets the cookies and sumtimes it doesnt, maybe the expiry date on them is iffy, im begining to doubt its nothing to do with ie6 security levels, or ie6, but rather the cookies themselves

anyone tried with opera/mozilla and have any problems, i might try installing mozilla if final version is put soon
