Hard House icons The Tidy Boys have dusted off one of their most treasured compilation series for its 6th edition as they have just released a brand new ‘Annual’…
The Hard House fans amongst you will know all about the history of the Tidy Boys and how they have kept this underground sound well and truly alive for the past 25 years since their first release all the way back in 1995. This year was going to be one of their biggest celebrations to date as they hosted a very special weekender event to make their 25th anniversary. Well, as all good things go to plan with what is going off in the world right now that event has been pushed back to next year as I am sure many other big dance events have due to the ongoing pandemic.
The live events might be on hold for now but one thing from the Tidy Boys is that the new music and material is defiantly not. This past week coinciding with the relaunch of their Tidy Trax community web site they released a brand new edition of the ‘Annual’. The series is one of the most sought after on the Hard House circuit and last had an outing with the Tidy TV Annual back in 2004. The 6th edition of the series features all brand new music fro the Tidy Boys and a whole platter of Hard House talent old and new. It comes in two editions, one a triple CD with a live mix from the Tidy Boys set at the Opera House in Bournemouth back in 2007 for their big night out tour. The other comes in the form of a USB which features all the CD mixes and all the other annual mixes from the previous 5 releases. Not just that it also has a selection of full length tracks which feature on the new release.
It’s the biggest annual to date and for those wanting to complete their collection the USB is fantastic value. You can get hold of both editions exclusively from the Tidy Trax site, which replaces Glamzoo as the online portal for all Tidy related music and merchandise releases.
