AJ Gibson returns to Discover in triumpant style with As One. Steering clear of obvious trance cliches is tough these days but AJ does it to perfection creating an intro based around a synthetic WAH WAH guitar effect that immediately grabs the attention. Underpinned by a warm off beat bass, As One marches towards the breakdown with all the clues that this is going to be an epic affair of the musical heart and it is exactly that..... Big melodies fire in from all directions before dropping back into big key changes that lift the melody sky high and beyond. Cory Goldsmith debuts on the label with a peach of a tune in Pipeline Punch. A cool, dark and deep intro grabs you from the start, with penetrating stabs and a pulsating bass that guide you to the breakdown together with subtle hints of melody. The breakdown opens into the melody which lifts whilst still retaining menacing undertones until it kicks back in with full intent. The melodies are strong yet beautifully understated throughout creating lush melodic trance that sits perfectly against the stark musical background. A brilliant label debut from Cory.

Physical Phase returns with a lush slice of deep progressive trance. This is a Game hits early with melodic intent and beautiful key changes that sit against a bed of cool effects and intelliegent drum programmimg. The drop lifts you sky high and the strong melodies just keep coming bathing you in sonic mastery. Equally at home in warm build up sets or in the peak of the big room when BPM's are not the only requirement.
