Gatecrasher’s flagship hyper-club Gatecrasher Birmingham celebrates a monumental 4th birthday this September and to celebrate in style GATECRASHER is opening its doors for a series of extra special events to celebrate 4 years at the forefront of the clubbing industry.

Built on the principals of innovation and diversity and fuelled by its upfront vision, GATECRASHER has propelled dance-music into the hearts of millions. Beginning life in 1993 at Birmingham’s Engine Rooms to becoming a world-conquering global club brand, Gatecrasher has continued to push boundaries and dominate dance music for 18 years. And to kick start our 4th Birthday celebrations on Saturday 22nd September we welcome some of the biggest DJ’s on the planet to the main room including Holland’s house music lovin’ homeboy Laidback Luke a form favourite amongst the Gatecrasher crowd after storming sets at the White Parties back in May 2012 and December 2011.

Joining Luke we see the return of Michael Woods, who helped us celebrate our last Birthday alongside Eddie Halliwell & more back in October 2011 and wowed crowds with his talent both behind the decks and in his production works.

And we see Oliver Ingrosso, brother of one of the world’s biggest DJs right now, make his debut behind GB’s hallowed desks and with praise from an array of the world’s leading DJs he has firmly made a name for himself with his own talent as one of the favourites on the house music scene.

In room 2 we see Birmingham brand RocknRolla host Mansion with their leading DJs Micky Slim, Rue Jay & Alex Schmitz. Famed for their notorious after parties and outlandish behaviour it’s easy to see why this night is a firm favourite with Brummie clubbers and having just returned from the white isle this summer, have been increasingly popular with clubbers from all over the world.
In room 3, Arkade we bring you GC’s future hero’s who have been making a name for themselves all over the UK including Nick Coulson, Rui Jay, Kiki V & Sam Jones.

In Bed Ultralounge we bring you the hottest RnB and Hip-Hop tracks with our resident DJ Mikael Diaz spinning the likes of Rihanna, Drake, Lloyd, Jay-Z, Beyonce & More.

We caught up with one of the UK's fastest rising DJ's Kryder ahead of his performance at Gatecrasher Birmingham on Saturday 22nd September for part 1 of GB's 4th Birthday celebrations, here is what he had to say....

1. Are you looking forward to GB 4 Birthday show on Sept 22nd , what do you expect from the event?

i always love playing at GC the energy & atmosphere is amazing - the clubbers are clued up and know there music so im never afraid to play really new upfront stuff as there not always after the anthems!

2. Have you been in Ibiza this summer, whats been your highlight of the summer ?

ibiza has been amazing this summer ive really enjoyed playing at Judgement sundays but a real highlight for me was playing in croatia such a beautiful place with a really cool up & coming dance music scene!

3. What new productions are you working on ?

ive just finished a colab with the new Radio 1 Dj Danny Howard which is out this month on Spinnin records and ive also just remixed Afrojack which will be out on his label Wall Recordings this month Aswell!

4. What can we expect on Sept 22nd ?

some brand new productions , big bouncy high energy dance music and of course some vodka spraying and usual misbehaving !

5. Whats on your I pod ?

Drum & Bass ! i only listen to my ipod in the gym and when im circuit training it helps me keep my heart rate pumping at 170bpm!
