RELEASE NOTES:

Roy Engel (a.k.a Painkiller) started his musical career at a young age studying music, playing piano and later on beating the drums and experiencing rock’n`roll adventures.
With the rise of electronic music in the 90s he got really inspired and started to develop electronic beats.
Along the years Roy experienced different styles and collaborated with many artists and friends around the world. Some collaborations include: Astral Projection, Azax Syndrom, Mekkanikka, Cpu, Lost&Found, Biog?nesis, Absolum, Punchline, Toxic, Madmaxx, Massive, Audio Hijack, Pure Pressure, Switch, Indigo, and more.

The most dominant collaboration with his very close friend Yonatan Marcow a.k.a Bliss goes under the title “A-Team”. A great combination of the two, squizing out the Juice of psytrance through different influences of electronic music with the results proven on the dancefloor…

Painkiller’s tracks provide a sharp edition of computer technologies, tight mix, dynamic grooves and fat bass lines. You can recognize musical elements connecting the trance music of these days with instrumental and classic music from different times such as Opera, Flamenco, Rock’n’roll and more... Painkiller’s first album “Brainwash” was released on 2007, including dancefloor smashers such as HardFloor, Dont Tell Ma (vs Bliss), Format, Flam&Co and more. The second album “License to Heal” was released a year later, including a remix and a few colaborations with Slug, Naked Tourist and more.
The 3rd Album is ready to roll, so prepare yourself for “Duty Freak”!
