On Saturday 20th November, we are delighted to be showcasing the Custard Factory Warehouse (formerly known as Space 2) as part of Electric City 2010. Without doubt the plushest warehouse space in Birmingham, we have put so many good acts in here over the years such as Pendulum Live, Groove Armada Live, 2 Many DJ's, Calvin Harris Live, Ricardo Villalobos. The list is endless.

The space is dark and industrial and we will be given the space a complete overhaul and keeping that early 90's warehouse vibe and kitting the place out in state of the art sound and lighting.

Headlining this huge warehouse party is one of the most captivating electronic acts of recent times BOOKA SHADE with their brand new live show. Booka shade have propelled into the highest ranks of live electronic acts in recent times. Everyone knows their seminal track "Body Language" from years gone by and subsequent productions have found there way into pretty much all influential DJ's record boxes. Their performance at Global Gathering saw 10,000 packed inside the 2nd biggest tent structure in Europe. Their new album "More" received nothing but critical acclaim and their live show encompasses live percussion, insane production and on the fly remixes and edits of their synonomous tracks. This is a relatively intimate environment for the band and it's a pleasure to have them as part of the Electric City series of 2010.

JORIS VOORN supports - and what a year it has been for quite possibly the most exciting act in Underground House and Techno! Born in Rotterdam, figurehead and leading light of the Dutch scene Joris Voorn began DJing in 1997. He started producing his own music three years later, and his first release on Keynote found its way into the boxes of such luminaries such as Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, DJ Rush and even the late John Peel. The track Incident from his Lost Memories Pt 2 EP was an instant classic, named as techno track of the year by Mixmag and topping numerous DJs’ end of year lists. His recent single on Cocoon "The Secret" has been absolutely unstoppable recently. He has smashed every venue and festival worth it's salt to pieces this year and we are sure his Birmingham debut will be truly special.

TECHNASIA also feature for those who like the harder edge of techno making a very well rounded night of music and entertainment for those into underground electronic house music!
