Broken by Strange Worlds featuring Natasha Flame / the follow up to their debut Danote (UV1204) is being released on Universal Vibes on vinyl and digital. Recession House is what springs to mind when you are listening to the melancholy yet soothing sound of Broken. You are almost taken back to the 90's when you would hear the discontent and edgy confessions of a track on the dance floor. A time when, back then we were in a recession. Spring forward to 2010 and the dancefloor is once again not just about a sugar-coated world . The bitter-sweet confession of a fallen, broken, heart being delivered by the sweet voice of Natasha Flame takes on a spine-shivvering edgy tinge which darkens as the track progresses. The haunting synthetic string section sets the vibe and is enriched with a soulful touch. Broken has been compared to House with a touch of techno...a culmination project of 4 very different backgrounds..Darko...Jason...Ruptert..Natasha...... Natasha has worked with various producers, co-writing edgy pop songs on Augie March (1997) as well as 'Angel' a dance track with Lee Simpson, a hit in Ibiza in the summer of 1999. She has also co-written songs and worked with Yak Bondy under 19 management. Always a lover of live music, Natasha put together and fronted a band called Mala, an Indie/folk/rock band which saw them play various venues and festivals including EXIT fesitval in the summer of 2007.

A published poet, Natasha is embarking on a solo career under the name 'Natasha and the flame' an edgy pop collection of her intimate and provocative sound, working with Simon Bogle from 3Head and Dan Jones from D'Nell. Her work ranges from indie to pop to dance music. Her collaboration with Strange Worlds has given them 'Broken' and they continue with their soulful, dark and diverse project...there is more to come, much more!
