With just under 2 weeks to go before the next instalment of Magnetix @ Club 414 (voted best new party of 2007 at the HarderFaster.net awards!) we thought now would be a great time to fill everyone in on just what to expect from us on the 29th.

Firstly a slight change to the line up. Unfortunately McShane and Rhys Williams cannot make it anymore due to previous commitments. Instead, we are pleased to announce that we have instead secured the services of Chuck-E, Jon the Baptists long term production and back to back DJ partner. This dynamic duo will now be playing a 90 minute set for you aural pleasure. This slight change means the set times will be as follows:

22:00 – 00:00 – Paul Martin
00:00 – 01:30 – Dean Zone
01:30 – 02:30 – Phil Lankester
02:30 – 04:00 – Jon the Baptist b2b Chuck-E
04:00 – 05:00 – Ashley James
05:00 – 06:00 – Kristian


However, for those of you who just haven’t had enough come 06:00, we at Magnetix are very proud to present our own official FREE after party, running from 06:00 right the way through to 12:00, with some of the finest up and coming DJs around.
The set times for the after party are:

06:00 – 07:30 – Andy Forse
07:30 – 09:00 – Kris Noble
09:00 – 10:30 – Trevor Dans
10:30 – 12:00 – Quantum Luke


For those of you who just cannot wait until the 29th of February to come around, you can appease your appetite with Vol.2 of our Magnetix Mix series, mixed by our very own Phil Lankester. Containing 78 minutes of pumping Psy Trance for your listening pleasure, this really has to be heard!

This brings us nicely onto competition time!
Firstly, we here at Magnetix would like to pass on our thanks to Paul Jack and those wonderful people over at Party Proactive, as we have 3 tickets to give away for Party Proactive – the 4th Birthday @ SeOne on Saturday 8th March. With headliners like Dali LIVE, Proteus and Andy Farley this is going to nothing short of massive! We will also have 3 hot off the press Vinyl to give away on the night. To win either prize you’ll need to find one of the golden envelopes hidden around the 414 on the night, and take the coupon inside to the front desk to claim your prize!

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted for us as the best new party of 2007 at the HarderFaster.net awards.

We will again be transforming the 414 into a fantasy paradise unlike any other night you will have had there. From UV backdrops, and balloons to free glow sticks and wristbands, there really is no expense spared!

Also we would like to remind all budding up and coming DJs that we are constantly on the lookout for new talent for our forthcoming events. If you think you’ve got what it takes to play for us, come down and hand in your demo at the front desk. We guarantee to listen to it and provide feedback, although due to the volume we receive this may take a while.
