You have every right to get excited about the new releases this week on Recoverworld. Cast your memory back to 2003 and see if you can remember a track by Rafferty & Kershaw called ‘We Are Connected’. Well, a good 16 years forward and its time to get reminded of it with a superb remix from Nicholson as well as the original fully remastered in its entirety. Not only do they have that gem of a release this week they also have new records from Oberon, Black XS and Latex Zebra.

Rafferty & Kershaw - We Are Connected

We are delighted to release the Rafferty & Kershaw classic, We Are Connected - a huge tune at the time that still sounds fresh as a daisy today. Huge support back in the day and this time given stylish remix treatment from one of the most exciting producers on the scene at the moment. With respect duly paid to the Original, Nicholson has given it a thorough makeover and is a worthy additon to this modern classic.

Oberon - Stabilised

Zach Zlov returns to Discover Dark to remix the Oberon classic, Stabilised. Expect an absolute beast as from the very first bar you are punched repeatedly by the hard kick and pulsing bass. Distorted toplines and stabs join the sonic party until the build offers the only respite that is needed nas the hook is stripped bare before being rebuilt in style from the ground up. Dark, fast, deep and dirty - just how we lke it. A brilliant remix of a brilliant original.

Black XS - Green Wave

The 10th release on Lethal Shots comes courtesy of Recoverworld favourite Black XS with Green Wave. The perfect marriage of pulsating bass and deep kick keeps the bottom end rocking together with a sonic bombardment of cool FX and stabs which gently introduce the melody. The breakdown opens up into a festival of melodic beauty with warm pads and an infectious hook line before the track kicks back in with all its tech trance glory. Black XS always delivers and so do Lethal Shots making this a marriage of perfection and another huge coup for this outstanding label.

Latex Zebra - Black & White

Latex Zebra is back with another top drawer trancer. Black and White shows a nod towards the classic progressive trance feel with build up key changes and delaying plucks which give the introduction plenty of warmth and movement. This opens right up in the breakdown with the additonal toplines and chords that bring the whole thing together in epic style. We love the chords in this - Black and White belongs to that school of trance that knows exactly how ot layer a tune without overcrowding it.
