The Third Selection From Global Underground

The Global Underground label has a very rich history of CD compilations. Its city compilations go down in dance music circles as some of the best mixes to have been released. Artists like Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfold and the late Tony De Vit have all notched up a release in the series. While that series focuses on the brand DJ to provide the tunes their new ‘Select’ series puts the track control firmly in the hands of the A&R people at Global Underground.

What you have then is the very favourite tracks spread over two mixes from the people who run the label. Selected from hundreds of promos and new releases you will find 34 of the very best tracks in this two disc compilation. It’s the third in its series and seems to be released on an annual basis. You could call it the labels very own yearly annual of what they think are hot in the world of dance music.
